    Job Description

    Spillers Works, the restaurant management company that serves Eno's Pizza Tavern, is seeking a detail-oriented, driven individual to join our team in the roles of Bookkeeper, Executive Assistant and Lead Office Administrator to facilitate our growth. Reporting to the President/CEO of Spillers Works, this individual plays an integral role in ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly in the following ways:

    • Maintain accurate books and records with the ability to produce timely financial statements
    • Exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, exhibit strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple competing priorities. The Executive Assistant will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
    • Manage the Office Team and push to achieve a high degree of back-office productivity with a great degree of accuracy exemplifying our commitment to be hospitable to the needs of our hospitality clients
    The ideal candidate is a self-starter who excels in scheduling, organizing, completing, and facilitating a variety of management tasks.


    Key Responsibilities:
    o Restaurant, professional services and real estate bookkeeping
    o Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable / Reconciliations / Chart of Accounts Management / Budget JE's / Sales JE's and Revenue Recognition / Labor JE's
    o State Tax Filings (Sales and Use, MB Gross Receipts, and MB Sales Tax)
    o Treasury Management
    o Financial Reporting (BS, P&L, CF, and AP Aging) within 10-days of EOM
    o A/P Point of Contact for Vendors
    o A/R Point of Contact for Clients/Tenants
    o Ensure accurate and timely 1099 issuance
    o File and pay business personal property tax and real estate tax
    o Maintain accurate books and records for all business entities and sub-entities, ledgers and subledgers, and data-driven systems
    o Manage the President/CEO's email and calendar
    o Enhance the President/CEO's ability to achieve greater effectiveness and higher levels of organization
    o Special Projects Lead
    o Lead, manage, and hold the Office Team members accountable
    o Develop and maintain office systems (filing, offsite storage, and online data management)
    o Liaise with clients, vendors, and office staff while exuding a positive attitude and professionalism
    o Ensure on-going support for Restaurant Operations Teams
    o Coordinate office team support and delegate tasks/assignment appropriately based on team member bandwidth and skillset
    o Internal Training Lead
    o Maintain accurate and current process descriptions for all office functions
