Typing general correspondence, engagement letters, transmittal letters, etc.
Printing/assembling tax packages for our clients
Typing and checking financial statements to include compilations, reviews and audits
Printing/assembling financial statement packages for our clients
Assembling quarterly and yearly payroll tax packages for our clients
Processing and mailing out confirmations
Scanning signed engagement letters, audits, representation letters, audit confirmations, etc.
Assisting with various client mailings throughout the year
Work on special projects
Accounts receivable: receipt and posting of payments; making bank deposits
Accounts payable: matching and entering bills; vendor file maintenance and reporting
Must be organized with storage and maintenance of all financial records.
Answering phone calls
Order office supplies
Maintain schedules and calendars
Experience working for a public accounting firm
MUST have Intermediate skill level in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
Willingness to learn and implement other software programs
Hands-on experience with office equipment (ex. fax machines, scanners and printers)
Excellent time-management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Self-motivated without needing to be micromanaged
