Responsibilities include:

  • Typing general correspondence, engagement letters, transmittal letters, etc.

  • Printing/assembling tax packages for our clients

  • Typing and checking financial statements to include compilations, reviews and audits

  • Printing/assembling financial statement packages for our clients

  • Assembling quarterly and yearly payroll tax packages for our clients

  • Type-checking/finalizing proposals

  • Processing and mailing out confirmations

  • Scanning signed engagement letters, audits, representation letters, audit confirmations, etc.

  • Assisting with various client mailings throughout the year

  • Work on special projects

  • Accounts receivable: receipt and posting of payments; making bank deposits

  • Accounts payable: matching and entering bills; vendor file maintenance and reporting

  • Must be organized with storage and maintenance of all financial records.

  • Answering phone calls

  • Order office supplies

  • Maintain schedules and calendars


  • Experience working for a public accounting firm

  • MUST have Intermediate skill level in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat

  • Willingness to learn and implement other software programs

  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (ex. fax machines, scanners and printers)

  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.

  • Self-motivated without needing to be micromanaged
