The Senior HRIS Manager is responsible for driving our systems and analytics strategy by configuring, supporting and identifying systems and tools that support our People Programs, Recruiting, Talent Management, Total Rewards, and Analytics. The role works closely with HR and IT to ensure the HRIS strategy is aligned with the broader company strategy.

Core Responsibilities
  • Drives and influences HRIS strategies and process that cover all domains of the current systems including Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Onboarding and Analytics.
  • Leverage subject matter expertise in all HCM functions to advise on HR data and technology-related matters across the organization.
  • Be an active participant in the RFP for a new HRIS System solution
  • Support all HR Business Process Owners (Talent Acquisition, Org. Development, Compensation, LMS, Payroll) with system configuration.
  • Manage and monitor the global security protocols and permission structure in HRIS Systems.
  • Primary contact with HR and IT team members to streamline processes and ensure consistent application and integration of HR systems and tools
  • Lead HR data and technology projects by obtaining key partner buy-in, developing requirements, building/testing, preparing and delivering change management, implementing, and conducting after action reviews for feedback and improvements.
  • Help build and drive the HRIS optimization roadmap with key stakeholders and be the implementation lead for improvements/enhancements
  • Manage and monitor HRIS system performance and work closely with our support partners to optimize the performance of HRIS systems.
  • Maintain, monitor, and support all HR system integrations to meet business requirements.
  • Actively participates in HR projects by collaborating with functional subject matter experts on the process / system design, configuration, testing and providing support post-launch.
  • Partner effectively with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to integrate HRIS to other systems (Benefits, Time & Attendance, Payroll, Talent Platforms, etc.) to drive efficiency and data consistency across the organization.
  • Tracks outstanding HRIS System issues; work closely with IT support team to manage, implement and test changes in the system.
  • Support change management activities and post go-live support and training activities
  • Identify opportunities for automation and reduction of manual processes and partner with teams across HR and IT on implementation of solutions. Perform regular business process reviews to make ongoing suggestions and create action plans.
  • Responsible for maintaining data accuracy and integrity within system through regular review and audit of data
  • Conducts formal and informal training sessions to employees and functional users regarding HRIS features and functionality.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university and 8+ years of progressive experience in HRIS, information systems, database management or related field, required.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience leading and developing high performing teams in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Deep working knowledge in the effective technical support of HCM applications.
  • Thorough understanding of all areas of information in HRIS with a highly technical understanding of at least one industry recognized HRIS product.
  • Experience implementing enterprise level HCM/HRIS systems.
  • Experience across multiple HCM modules, including Onboarding, Recruiting, Compensation, Talent Management, Learning and Benefits Administration, preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills including expertise in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and HRIS.
  • Strong project management skills to effectively balance competing priorities during project lifecycles
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships with both internal and external vendors and customers.
  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Provides leadership and guidance to HRIS team.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and assisting in providing appropriate resolutions.
