    Manages the billing functions and operations of the business office to ensure the integrity, compliance, accuracy and timeliness in all areas and functions of responsibility including the handling of monies. Accountable for assuring a process and resource allocation to achieve the goals and objectives of the assigned areas which may include verification, pre-certification, calculation of point of service collections, securing patient payment or payment arrangements, screening for financial assistance, customer service excellence and other operational support activities. Responsible for assuring that standard process discipline is adhered to. Assures that high performance work team is developed through coaching and mentoring. Responsible for implementing process change identified through the net revenue cycle process or regulatory audits.Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree (or contract to obtain within 1 year) required. Required education or equivalent experience. Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience (preferably in Patient Access) with knowledge of Healthcare regulatory guidelines to include, but not limited to HIPAA, AHCA and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). Experience in Microsoft Office products. Excellent organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis in problem resolution. Ability to multitask, especially during stressful situations. Understand performance improvement (collect data, analyze data, identify process and implement process change). Must have at least 4 years of experience.
