    The School of Music is searching for a Records Specialist to support a large undergraduate program by supporting its faculty and students. This includes creating and maintaining a robust schedule of classes with associated instructors, managing the enrollment of students in these classes and utilizing CollegeNet (25Live) to schedule the spaces in which these classes are held.

    The Records Specialist will establish and maintain confidential digital undergraduate student records. Provide information to and answer questions from students, parents, faculty, other departments and outside constituents regarding the undergraduate Music programs; enroll students and handle all drop/add for departmentally controlled courses. They will work with Registrar's office on complex issues regarding student enrollment; maintain class lists; update as necessary; work with the Faculty Senate Office on approval of new courses; monitor input of grades into LionPATH and follow up as necessary to ensure timely completion. This person will retrieve and maintain statistical reports on grades, advisors, enrollment, etc. with regard to undergraduate students; create and manage the on-line SRTE system each semester and retrieve and maintain statistical reports on same, and enroll students in music minors. In coordination with the College Advising Office, review, verify and ensure graduation requirements have been met.

    Assist the Administrative Coordinator and other staff by answering the phone, greeting visitors, reserving ad-hoc rooms, work on special projects and other duties as assigned. This position also serves at the back-up support for key management and the graduate administrative support assistant position.

    The Records Specialist must be proficient in the use of LionPATH, CollegeNet (25Live), iTwo access, as well as, database management and various reporting tools and understand policies as they relate to undergraduates. This position requires a commitment to maintaining confidentiality, and a commitment to teamwork, as the office staff work closely together to support the School of Music as a whole.

    This job will be filled as a level 3, or level 4, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a High School Diploma or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 3. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs.
