Job Summary:
Prepares product building specifications under the guidance of Product Engineer.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform feasibility analysis and incoming inspection for customer quotation
2. Communicate with customer regarding design ambiguities
3. Confirm key items such as probe specifications, probe card structure, and ring type which are decided by Product Engineer
4. Prepare production documentation (DOC) from customers’ individual and general specifications while adhering to JEM’s design standards. Design process primarily uses customized Excel, AutoCAD, and Solidworks software
5. Create Bill of Materials (BOM) to request supplies for product build
6. Submit purchase requests in Microsoft Dynamics NAV for mechanical or electrical components which may be manufactured in-house or purchased from third party vendors
7. Scan completed production DOC for traceability
8. Submit engineering change request forms as new design/manufacturing information becomes available
Additional Responsibilities:
· Performs additional assignments and projects as requested by Management.
Qualifications:
· Associate of Science degree
· 0-2 years of experience
· Ability to operate the following equipment: mapping machine, punching machine and copy machine
· General knowledge of AutoCAD 2000, Excel and Word
· Strong accuracy skills and attention to detail
· Ability to file and maintain documents in an organized manner
· Microscope experience required
· Familiarity with the manufacturing process
