Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Lead Java Developer to join our team at our client’s site in McLean, VA.

Position Description:

Working on a major Modernization Project, the required resource will develop, engineer, implement and deliver quality software into critical upgrades and features for a large financial institution. This candidate will use modern design patterns and beautiful code for their packages and releases, as well as participate in unit testing of their development. Expert use of modern tools and technologies is key - especially on the front-end UI portions of the work.

This position is intended to be converted to FTE for a permanent Lead role - candidate must possess ability and desire to become a Lead.

Required Skills:

• MUST HAVE JAVA 8, SPRING BOOT, RESTFul API, Angular 6 and be very proficient in ALL of them
• Ability to do testing - either automated or manual and self-QA
• Modern Agile Delivery processes and procedures for code review and deployment - must have worked in an Agile shop
• Ability to adapt and quickly produce quality work
• Desires the Opportunity to become a LEAD of a team
