    Overview

    Canon U.S.A., Inc., is a respected leader in the Imaging and Office Equipment industry. As we expand our presence in the document and check scanner industry we seek a dynamic individual to build relationships that help support our business development efforts in the public sector.

    Home office with location preference for Maryland, Washington DC, or Virginia.

    The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.

    Responsibilities

    Identify, establish, and manage strong strategic relationships in key sectors, including Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), industry associations, industry analysts, channel partners, and other Suppliers, Influencers, Buyers, and End Users
    Leverage the existing infrastructure inside of Canon and at partners to "deep dive" the strategic relationships
    Create near- and long-term value for imageFORMULA products in key sectors
    Evaluate and manage new strategic business opportunities, initiatives, partnerships, and alliances.
    Oversee market analysis, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer needs.
    Provide leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business objectives, including defining vision, strategies, and tactics.

    Primary responsibility for managing the ecosystem for Canon imageFORMULA within the Public sector, supporting imageFORMULA Sales, Marketing, and Product Management in achieving their respective goals. Additionally, assist to expand imageFORMULA value into new and growing sectors, including building and supporting ecosystems for:
    Federal Government
    State and Local Government
    Education
    Virtualization (VDI)
    Robotic Process Automation (RPA)

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus five years of related experience.
    Knowledge / experience in the Public sector is required
    Experience in Business Development, Sales and/or public sector procurement helpful.
    Some knowledge / experience in document imaging helpful.
    Some technical knowledge, especially in software applications and hardware compatibility very helpful.MS office skills required (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
    Outstanding oral / written communication skills are required
    Outstanding organizational skills
    Excellent interpersonal skills along with good presentation skills are required
    Ability to travel domestically, up to 75% of the time is essential
    Ability to communicate across all levels and departments within the organization is a must

    The company will not pursue or support visa sponsorship for this position.

    *In accordance with Colorado law, we are providing the anticipated base salary for this role if filled in Colorado: $85,000 to $103,000
