JunoPacific is currently looking for a Quality Inspector to join our 3rd shift. 3rd shift hours are 10:45 pm to 7:15 am (Sunday Thursday)

Position Summary
The Quality Inspector on 3rd shift performs first piece / in-process inspections and approves final release of piece parts and assemblies per control/quality plans throughout production. Performs incoming inspections per control/quality plans for received materials. This role will also complete appropriate quality records within company and GMP guidelines, policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Inspection of injection molded parts relating to quality, appearance and performance
Inspection of assemblies relating to quality, appearance and performance.
Inspection of received materials relating to quality, appearance and performance
Determines reasons for defects. Must be able to read and understand quality/control plans, blueprints and specifications.
Checks parts dimensionally using precision testing equipment, including Tool Scope, CMM, OGP and Optical Comparator.
Effective organizational, oral and written communication skills
Completes all other work related duties as assigned

Qualifications/ Requirements

Basic knowledge of inspection equipment use and maintenance
Ability to work from customer supplied drawings and specifications
Ability to communicate inspection results with team members
Ability to quickly shift priorities in support of production inspection needs
Organization: managing multiple requirements and deadlines
High school diploma or equivalent degree (GED)
Experience with measuring instruments, methods and practices including hand tools and machine devices including CMM and Vision Systems
Quality training/certifications a plus
Knowledge of ISO 9001/13485 a plus
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Physical Requirements
Ability to occasionally: lift 10-50lbs, carry 10-50lbs and to stand, bend and stoop
