    Mercury is seeking a Tower Technician I that shows the readiness to learn how to safely and  
    efficiently climb and maneuver on a wireless structure under the direct supervision of the Tower  
    Foreman and/or Tower Technician III. We are known in the industry for our world-class culture, work stability, career development opportunities, and best in class vehicles and equipment. The ideal  
    candidate will be safety focused, customer and quality centric, with a strong work ethic and ALL IN  attitude.   




    • Crane Signal Efficiency  

    • Knot Tying (Should be proficient in tying a Double Figure 8, Bowline, Pipe Hitch, Clove  

    Hitch, Munter Hitch, and Prusik) and exposure to rigging  

    • Ability to connectorized, route, install and weatherproof 1/2” coax jumpers as well as RET  


    • Exposure to installing 5/8” coax or larger, SO cables and install hoisting grips and  

    ground kits  

    • Install, microwave dishes, antennas, RRUs and other various wireless equipment on the  


    • Ability to utilize the Antenna Alignment tool and assist in testing coax and fiber  • Ability to rig a tower with a block in a Class II Rigging scenario  

    • Perform other duties as requested   




    • 100% Travel Ability Nationwide

    weekends when requested  

    • Your team must be tied off 100% of the time  

    • Ensure there is a safety manual, a safety rescue kit, a complete first aid kit, a working fire  
    extinguisher and water and everyone knows where to locate it on site  

    • Ability to climb and work up to 500+ft and lift over 50 pounds  




    • This position reports to the corporate headquarters to collect necessary supplies, located at  
    18777 US Highway 66 Pacific, MO 63069.   

    • Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, like sitting, squatting, standing,  
    walking, and driving  

    • Must endure regular exposure to all weather conditions, including hot, cold, humid, and rainy  
    during all seasons throughout the year  

    • May be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels on sites of projects  
    being managed or coordinated  

    • Must wear common protective safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing  
    protection, hard hats and high visible vest when working on-site  




    • 0-1 years in a position/career field associated with Tower Technician I  • OSHA 10 certification  

    • First Aid/CPR Certification  

    • RF Awareness Training  

    • Valid Driver’s License   

    • High School diploma or equivalent required
