Pre-Sales Senior Enterprise Solutions: We need talented people to help provide first-class data analytics and visualization solution consulting to customers and prospects as part of enterprise sales and account management. As a leading member of solutions team you will be responsible for making sure that we are guiding customers toward solutions that will solve their problems and deliver meaningful results to their users. We view every account as a long term relationship spanning many years and a successful candidate to this position will be able to demonstrate a track record of working collaboratively with customers to build large complex solutions. Functional Capabilities: The core functions of this position include: - Relationship-building with customers, diagnosing what will make them successful, and ensuring the delivery of those solutions by working closely with MapLarge engineers and project managers. - This position entails teaming with customers and managing all aspects of the account through the full lifecycle from meeting prospects at conferences, to initial customer demos, to proposal submissions, to pilot and production build-outs, and the ideation of follow-on product features and service engagements. - Candidates need to be comfortable working as a servant leader in a matrix style organizational structure where leaders naturally emerge in different functional areas based on effort and competency. - This role requires strong task management skills and the leadership of dedicated customer solution delivery teams working against a SoW with support from MapLarge product teams. Experience and Skills: Ideal candidates will have the following experience: - Teaming with Sales and Marketing on numerous Fortune 1000 (or Federal government) analytics projects with engagements from the working-level end-user to senior executives. - Strong interpersonal, public speaking, and written communications skills are a must. - Candidates with science or engineering Masters degrees are preferred, however, very strong equivalent on-the-job experience may be sufficient. - Although you don't need to be a current or former software engineer, you need to have experience working closely with software engineers at a deep technical hands on level. The ability to lead technical software discussions both externally with customers and internally with technical teams is required to be successful in this position. - Detailed knowledge of various Enterprise and Cloud architectural approaches to solving problems is a must. Persuasive Writing and Meetings: A successful Senior Enterprise Solutions Manager at MapLarge will enjoy creating content that is persuasive based on thoughtful data driven analysis for both internal and external consumption. - This will involve both being comfortable sitting at a computer producing content on your own (long form documents, demo scripts, slides, etc.) and also collaboratively in real-time with teammates or customers in webex or in person meetings. - A successful candidate would be able to rapidly learn new concepts and write about proposed solutions in a jargon free fashion that helps readers understand not just the conclusion, but the rationale that got there and to present it in a way that is open to improvement and adaptation based on the feedback of others. - Internally decisions are made in a principle driven way, not by chain of command, but based on open minded team-driven conversations among very intelligent people who quickly evolve ideas to improve them in a collaborative way. We expect successful candidates to be able to participate in these kinds of conversations in a productive way internally and also to carry forward these sorts of conversations to engage customers in the same kind of dialogue. What You'll Do - Lead and execute technical activities at all stages of the process for customer experience opportunities.
    - Provide expert, hands-on domain and technology knowledge across the digital landscape while maintaining an up-to-date view on emerging digital experience technologies.
    - Articulate the breadth and value of MapLarge solutions against customer use cases and explain how MapLarge differentiates from the competition.
    - Articulate and demonstrate knowledge to clients in terms that are easy to understand and relevant to their business needs.
    - Deliver standard and customized solution demonstrations and presentations outlining the functional capabilities, competitive advantages and business benefits of MapLarge solutions as they apply to client needs.
    - Deliver solution demonstrations across all levels of a customer's organization, including the power user, marketing user, and executive levels.
    - Ability to deliver and manage proof of concept/proof of value scenarios for customers across industries.
    - Support the response of RFI/RFP's or business case requests.
    - Provide solution leadership for MapLarge customer opportunities.
    - Strategize with sales teams on objectives for client meetings, and understand how this activity relates to overall sales plan.
    - Build a trusted relationship with Account Executives and client account to provide practical and theoretical guidance in the business value of the proposed solution.
    - Set proper expectations throughout the customer account life cycle to ensure customer satisfaction.
    - Guide sales teams on how to position MapLarge solutions against competitors and as part of a complex technology ecosystem.
    - Understand, utilize and communicate best practice methodologies internally and externally.
    - Provide support for regional business development activities and marketing events, as needed.

Office Locations and Travel You can work from just about any hub city in the US with easy air travel (Midwest and east coast preferred). MapLarge currently has offices in Atlanta, Washington DC, and London.
