Your role: In your role as the AMSA Assistant Account Manager, you will support Test Coordinators, an Account Manager, and Directors with test management and establishing project task structures for assigned customers. The Assistant Account Manager creates, monitors and maintains the programs integrated master schedule, workload projection report and financial execution report. You will work with the customer and test engineers to define the project scope and test procedures, assist the test engineers with bottom-up cost estimation and create detailed cost and schedule proposals. Assist with customer communication and documentation of scope changes and amended project proposals. Provide key input for program management reviews and may represent the account at Customer Business Reviews. Provide expert knowledge of aviation systems to the Account Manager and engineers when needed. What you’ll do all day: * Work as part of a team of the Test Program Integration Directorate. * Assist the Account Manager with program management and business development. * Provide aviation systems subject matter knowledge to the Account Manager when needed. * Manage tests while working with personnel in all of Redstone Test Center’s test divisions. * Communicate with engineers, technicians, and customers to discover and develop requirements for testing. * Work closely with Test Coordinators to monitor project schedules and funds. Minimum requirements for this position: * Bachelor's Degree in a technical, science, or business discipline from an accredited college/university; or a Bachelor's Degree of another discipline and 4 years of experience performing the job duties in the assigned specialty area. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis for specific military experience. * Expert knowledge of U.S. Army aircraft and their related systems. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Government security clearance. * Must be a US Citizen . Desired skills and experience for this position: * U.S. Army aviation subject matter expert. * Microsoft Office and Project proficiency. * Technical writing experience.
