Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Providing technical support and troubleshooting to network desktop and/or systems hardware and software.
* Screening, referring and diagnosing internal inquiries and work requests as they relate to maintenance of personal computers and related systems.
* Adding and removing users to groups that grant access to applications as approved.
* Initiating tickets for any service request or incident, and providing continuous follow up until resolution.
* Performing work in customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and program performance metrics.
* Installing and mapping computer peripherals for users.
* Creating accounts, accesses, and resetting passwords.
* Installing, configuring, and upgrading computer hardware and software.
* Providing end-user software troubleshooting and support.
* Providing technical support for complex incidents to identify root causes, work arounds, and solutions
* Participating in the administration of e-mail systems and provisioning of accounts.
* Providing phone and help-desk support for local and off-site users.
* Providing network and Active Directory administration, share drives/folders, group permissions, and account administration.
* Performing remote desktop triage and system repairs using remote tools.
* Supporting data management/transfers.
* Writing training manuals, SOPs, user guides, knowledge article, and other system documentation.
* Coaching and reviewing the work of less-experienced professionals.
* Providing exceptional customer service support.
* Using extensive independent judgement.
* Maintaining current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
* Participating in special projects as required.
* Supporting 24x7 operations; shift work may be required. Basic Qualifications: * High School diploma or GED and four (4) years' experience in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications/training, or work experience.
* 3+ years of directly related experience.
* Exceptional customer service skills.
* DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or be prepared to attain within six (6) months of Hire Date. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with customer's account provisioning system.
* ITIL ITIL® v3 or v4 Foundation, certification.
* Experience with ServiceNow.
* Security+ CE certification. Security Clearance Requirements: * Active and current TS/SCI with polygraph. Physical Requirements: * Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
* Must be able to move/traverse within and between buildings and offices.
* Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
