We are currently seeking a Lead Contracts Administrator to facilitate the administration of an array of contracts from large IDIQs to small subcontracts. The successful applicant will have substantial knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and CAS clauses and principles and possess the ability to effectively communicate contractual language to internal and external stakeholders. The Lead Contracts Administrator will report directly to the CFO and will be responsible for overall contracts administration and compliance. The ideal candidate aspires to gain managerial experience and move into a managerial contracts position in the near future. Responsibilities:
• Administer, extend, negotiate, and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts and task orders
• Perform all tasks associated with contract administration from pre-award to closeout including, but not limited to:
o Drafting, issuing, and executing subcontractor teaming agreements, subcontracts, and modifications
o Maintaining records of prime and subcontractor value and funding, contract record and file management, reviewing and validating prime and subcontractor invoices, payment reconciliations
o Ensuring Small Business Contracting compliance
o Assisting with claims and Requests for Equitable Adjustments, etc.
• Maintain continual reviews to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that the contract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulation and advise management of contractual rights and obligations
• Prepare, organize, and coordinate program/project briefings as required
• Support contract, program, and business management reviews
• Assist in proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
• Track and perform programmatic and technical reviews of contract data requirements list (CDRL) items
• Prepare and disseminate information throughout the organization regarding contract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, and termination
• Complete other related tasks as necessary Required Qualifications and Experience:
• 5+ years of experience with the FAR and/or DFARS (and related agency supplements). With a strong working knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in a related field • Experience administering FFP/LOE, AF, LH, and T&M contract vehicles
• Knowledge of Federal contracting laws, procedures, and guidance
• Experience assisting in the continuous evaluation of compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and corporate and customer operations, security, cybersecurity, privacy, and human resources policies
• Must be eligible to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
• Must be a U.S. Citizen Desired Qualifications and Experience:
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred
• Experience administering contracts governed under the NAM strongly desired
• Knowledge of Federal, IC, and DoD acquisition policies, laws, procedures, and guidance
• Knowledge and familiarity with Intelligence Community procurement rules
• Experience interacting and communicating with U.S. Government Contracting Officers • Experience working with and resolving Organizational Conflicts of Interest Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift 15lbs on occasion
• Ability to sit and operate computers and other technologies for long periods of time About Us:
