Job Description: G3 Innovative Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Systems Solution Architect. The JSP Senior Systems Architect develops, implements, and maintains servers as per an organization’s goals. The individual assesses the requirements of customers and businesses, designs documents, and comes up with architectural approaches. Architects provide technical advice for software development. An architect will also assume the role of a technology expert in addressing issues related to systems, compatibility, and software integration. They partner with team members to strategize, develop, trial, and document features.
The Senior System Architects need to understand an organization’s current server architecture, standards, future technology plans thoroughly, and recommend emerging trends for both hardware and software infrastructure according to their research.
The Senior System Architects need to analyze and provide reviews on the magnitude of shortcomings and shortages in information systems, approaches to mitigate risks, resolve security alerts, and preempt possible adverse outcomes of identified weaknesses. Architects help teams in making them use technology appropriately. They make suggestions to clients by providing them with an IT strategy and a vision for implementing enterprise architecture services.
Provides direction to activities and assess system designs to ensure that solutions will perform satisfactorily regarding security, maintainability, and scalability.
Prepares white papers and in providing technology and product analysis. Extensive knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash and of application layer protocols, such as TCP/IP, UDP HTTP/S, and Web Sockets. Architects need to have experience designing and implementing complex solutions in cloud apps, such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.
Architects should be able to work within Agile-Scrum Methodology. They provide assistance and monitoring for all activities of information systems operations, such as computer and telecommunications’ operations, system security policy procedures, LAN/MAN/WAN administration and operations support, data control, operating systems programming, and web strategy and operations.
Duties and responsibilities:
Included in architects’ responsibilities are diagnosing production problems and providing technical, strategic and procedural support to their organizations. They also assist in resolution implementation.
Architects need to diagnose new and existing software products and provide quality assurance review for them. They are responsible for managing the purchase, testing, implementation, and supporting network communications.
Technicians work with vendors to see to it that that the computer system platform is providing adequate computing resources to provide the level of business performance that their organization requires. They provide consulting and training to clients on the design and use of information technology architecture and network systems.
Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected Requirements:
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or other related technical disciplines.
Minimum of five years of experience as a Senior Systems Solutions Business Architect or similar role
Demonstrated experience in Enterprise Architecture development. "Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program" IA Technical (IAT), or IA Management (IAM) Level I certification
Demonstrated ability and experience in developing business architectures.
Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Architecture in the DoD Environment.
Demonstrated expertise with the DoD Architecture Framework.
Demonstrated experience with architecture modeling toolsets
Experience in assessing, designing, development, and deployment of large applications
Thorough understanding and experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). They should be conversant with IT service management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
Architects should be able to communicate with both technical and non-technical users after understanding their needs
Ability to manage/control polices and permission groups
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Overall ownership of delivered quality of projects
Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines
Demonstrated aptitude for learning emerging technologies
