Cyber Quantification Software Engineer (Intern and Entry Level) Siege Technologies is looking for motivated engineers with security clearances. Our positions are mission focused and operational in nature. Location: Rome, NY (remote during COVID) Responsibilities
* Help our customers to solve the hardest security problems
* Work in small groups and independently to build mission critical tools
* Perform technical research utilizing a variety of sources for evaluating both operational tools and processes
* Work/enhance existing frameworks and operational tools to support ongoing missions
* Research, design and develop new capabilities based on mission need and security enhancements
* Directly interface with the customer to ensure the technology we develop meets their mission needs & maintain Siege's stellar reputation
* Extremely Comfortable with Scripting/Command Line (Python 3, Batch/PowerShell, and Bash)
* Kali, Pentesting Tools, and VMware/VirtualBox Experience
* Web and Modern OO Programming Language Experience (HTML, CSS, Java 8, and JavaScript)
* Git Version Control, Issue Tracking Experience Required Technical Qualifications
* Cybersecurity Certifications (Security+, PenTest+, OSCP or Equivalent)
* Reverse Engineering/Security Experience (Ghidra, IDA, IDApython, Debuggers, Fuzzing, Metasploit)
* Front-end Development Experience (AngularJS, Vue, Webpack, ES6, SASS/CSS)
* Java based Back-end Development Experience (Jersey, JUnit, Spring, Swagger)
* Familiarity with Secure Development Lifecycle Best Practices
* Experience developing a secure, multi-user web application and REST API.
* Use of semi-formal testing methodology (TDD), including designing for code coverage
* Publications, Security Conference Presentations Education Requirements Intern - Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
Full-Time Entry Level - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field Clearance Requirements
Required - Ability to obtain a TOP SECRET Security Clearance (typically requires US Citizenship)
