JOB TITLE: Systems Administrator II GENERAL PURPOSE: The Systems Administrator II reports to the IT Director and is responsible for the day to day maintenance and integrity of the IT infrastructure and user support. The Systems Administrator II installs and troubleshoots a variety of operating systems, performs systems maintenance tasks, such as system back-up, recovery and file maintenance, and schedules, installs, and tests system software upgrades. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Configures software and resolves technical problems.
Monitors and maintains software licensing and maintenance agreements.
Advises the IT Director on hardware / software integration and scheduling.
Manages MS AD and ensures all required accounts are available.
Tracks and maintains lifecycle requirements and recommends replacement, upgrade, or termination of hardware/software.
Provides Level II technical support to program employees for complex system issues or problems and advises/assists the PC Maintenance Technician III in the performance of his/her duties.
Performs scans, maintenance, and patching on a routine basis at the server level to ensure optimal system performance and security.
Qualifications Required: Must be a US Citizen.
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with Poly
Must have at least 3 years' experience working as a Systems Administrator II
Must have 5 years' experience at a lower support level as a help desk technician, PC Maintenance Technician, or a similar position.
Must be CompTIA Security+ certified or the ability to obtain Security+ within 6 months of employment.
Must demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, MS Office applications, Windows 10, and Windows Server 2012 (R2) thru 2019.
Must have 1 - 3 years of experience supporting the IC / DoD, preferably in support of signature reduction programs Qualifications Desired: Microsoft Active Directory and domain configuration

Ubiquiti networking products
Apple devices, MAC OS
Certified MCSE. Education: Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in an IT related field.
