Gridiron IT is seeking a Network Engineer to support a Federal client in Ft. Bragg, NC. Responsibilities Provide tier II request fulfillment and incident resolution
Establish, configure, test and maintain network component images and network management tools
Provide 12 hours/day, 5 days/week support of the transport architecture environment, with on call availability after hours (1800-0600) and weekends Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting to maintain continuous operations
Serve as the escalation contact during outages
Interface with OEM vendors during the implementation and maintain close contact during solution operations Requirements Bachelor's Degree in technical or related field and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience
Must have a active SECRET security clearance Strong knowledge of NSA's Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) program to include the four capability packages (MSC, MA, WLAN, DAR)
Competence with MS Visio and PowerPoint to update and maintain network design documentation and develop design plans to be populated among various engineering teams and stakeholders
Extensive experience with enterprise network design and sustainment, to include routing, switching, and VPN solutions
Demonstrated capacity to understand and communicate technical ideas, concepts, and thoughts across multiple technical and non-technical stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to independently determine and develop approach to solutions Desired: Experience providing Tier 2 Support to technical systems
Working knowledge of CSFC technologies and methodologies
Current experience in the Army's classified and unclassified distributed work environment architectures and systems
Experience working in and supporting an Operations Center
Technical Certifications: CCNA
DOD IAT Level Required: IAT III
