Responsibilities Syntelligent is seeking a Jr. Computer Systems Engineer with active TS/SCI clearance and current CI Poly (preferred) for an awarded/funded contract in support of a government customer in Chantilly, VA. Primary Responsibilities: The Jr. Computer Systems Engineer is responsible for operating and enabling comprehensive, scalable, flexible, and rigorous Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) ready analytic data environment for a key player in the IC. * Receives direction from team leads. * Triages existing data (structured and unstructured) and enters it into the created templates. Processes the data into charts and reports. * Runs use cases/use stories of existing data. * Moves information from the databases/platforms to the new environment. * Performs database queries, constructs data sets, and prepares analysis reports. * Maintains databases. * Assists with application testing. Uses best practices and business rules for workflows. * Works with database engineers and developers to map multiple data types to the MIDB record while ensuring the maximum available data exploitation is provided to the MIDB environment. * Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data IAW ITIL, USACE and industry best practices. * Interprets patterns and trends in data sets using statistical methods, and provides results to team. * Streamlines data collection and analysis procedures to ensure quick access to metrics. * Works with team to develop and enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting to support programmatic and strategic goals. * Implements controls and compliance metrics to reduce data issues and improve data quality and integrity. * Identifies and leverages opportunities to continually improve the quality of data management systems, processes, and standards. Performs database queries, constructs data sets, and prepares analysis reports. Qualifications Required Skills: * Bachelors degree and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and zero (0) years experience (but must have demonstrated experience below). * At least one (1) year demonstrated experience running use cases/use stories of existing data. * At least one (1) year demonstrated experience processing structured and unstructured data. * Knowledge of SQL, Data Analtics, ETL tools. (REQUIRED) Active TS/SCI clearance and current CI Poly (or ability to obtain prior to hiring). * IAT Level II or III Certification is highly desired. * (MAY BE REQUIRED) Current Intelligence Fundamentals Professional Certification (IFPC) (or higher DIE Certification such as GPC-F) or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire ( https://dodcertpmo.defense.gov/IFPC/ ).
