    Overview JHNA is seeking a Quantum Science Subject Matter Expert with experience and expertise in cutting edge technologies and integration of these technologies into new and innovative warfighting capabilities. The mission of OUSD (R&E) as the Chief Technology Officer is to foster technological dominance across the Department of Defense and ensure the advantage of the American warfighter. The OUSD (R&E) enterprise is composed of the Directorate of Defense Research and Engineering for Advanced Capabilities; the Directorate of Defense Research and Engineering for Research and Technology; the Directorate of Defense Research and Engineering for Modernization which provides strategic direction for the 11 modernization priority areas (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Autonomy, Biotechnology, Cyber, Directed Energy, Fully Networked Command, Control & Communications, Hypersonics, Microelectronics, Space, Quantum Science, and 5G Network Technology). Responsibilities * Develop and coordinate concepts and requirements for the application of current and emerging technologies as they apply to DoD's R&E program
    * Maintain and update Quantum modernization roadmaps, coordinate roadmaps with key stakeholders
    * Assist and prepare presentations and reports to DoD leadership and outside DoD
    * Track the department-wide budget for efforts aligning with Quantum Science
    * Assist, prepare and conduct meetings for Quantum Science Modernization Office
    * Conduct Quantum Science technology research and analysis for future warfighting Construct
    * Provide programmatic expertise to the Government from system concept definition through technology transfer activities
    * Make recommendations to the development of Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) pertinent to mission needs and technical capabilities
    * Assess and advise on Joint Capability Technology Demonstrations (JCTD) requirements, capabilities, limitations, and constraints as they pertain to defense mission resilience and national security
    * Represent USD R&E on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and participate in Government-approved conferences and forums in addition to specific USD R&E projects Qualifications REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * 7+ years of Quantum Science program experience
    * Master's Degree in a STEM field field +14 years of experience
    * Active DoD issued TS with SCI eligibility within the last 12 months
    * Previous experience with Department of Defense RDT&E mission and processes
    * Previous experience in engineering, analysis of alternatives, integration, requirements, and testing
    * Experience with Cross-Domain Solutions
    * Excellent writing, communication and briefing skills DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * War College Experience * Acquisition Experience * Experience working in Joint Staff, with the DoD Labs, and DARPA * PhD
