Software Engineer - Search with Security Clearance - Now Hiring

This program comprises several high performance development teams that leverage modern technologies and practices including Lean Agile, Clean Code, and DevOps. - U.S. Citizenship
- Security Clearance - TS/SCI with Polygraph
- BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience with Java, Scala or Kotlin
- Experience with Solr, Lucene or ElasticSearch
- Experience with developing, deploying, tuning large scale, high-performance distributed systems
- Experience improving search quality and performance
- Experience coding innovative tools to support rapid experimentation and learning
- Experience programming in at least one scripting language (Bash, Perl, Python, etc.)
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment
- Experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g. JUnit, AssertJ, Mockito, Spring Runner)
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
- Experience with Microservices Architecture
- Experience with RESTful Webservices
- Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
- Experience with Message Brokers/Middleware such as ActiveMQ or Apache Camel
- Experience using AWS Services such as SNS, SQS, S3, KMS, DynamoDB and Lambda
- Experience with Gradle or Maven Desired Skills:
- Experience with Continuous Integration software like Jenkins
- Experience with production Big Data deployments using Hadoop/MapReduce
- Experience with container-based deployments (Docker)
- Experience with self-healing systems
- Experience and understanding of performance monitoring tools
- Contributes to the open source community
