The Event Production Manager will be responsible for coordinating the details of production, design, content and development by working directly with events and corporate department to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. This position requires superior organization, strong communication skills, as well as the ability to manage resources and budgets effectively and creatively.
Addresses customers concerns and resolve problems quickly and effectively.
Follows up with event & corporate department to receive feedback and ensure the customer was satisfied with services provided.
Facilitating all facets of pre-event production, onsite management, and post-event breakdown.
Ensuring event is completed smoothly and stepping up to resolve any problems that might occur.
Overseeing/executing multiple events from beginning to end, often occurring simultaneously.
Works closely with Wedding and Corporate Departments to ensure client’s vision is being met and pricing is standardized and up to date.
Creates floral designs incorporating an innovative use of colors, floral and accent materials, and vessels, while meeting established criteria for Dr Delphinium Designs and Events and cost of good sold.
Monitors orders and confirms details on a constant basis to ensure customer selection is processed correctly.
Updates the proposal template to meet the ever changing needs of the department. Completes creatives and assigns appropriate creatives to events designers.
Creates weekly events checklist and reviews at the end of the week to maintain proper quality assurance.
Coordinates with operations manager to get staffing assistance from other departments.
Interacts in positive, cooperative and professional manner, with all levels of employees, vendors and/or clients, in a team environment.
Assigns or leads event set up and dismantles.
Creates department schedules, assigns installations fairly and cost efficiently. Monitors department hours and schedule to decrease overtime.
Manages and directs a team of designers and design assistants.
Provides coaching and feedback, including formal corrective action.
Implement, review and improve department policies, procedures and service standards.
Helps facilitate and schedule events production meetings.
Works closely with Christmas lead to coordinate staffing, van allocation and design hours.
Monitors events inventory, communicates needs with flower buyer and oversees end of the month inventory completion.
Ensures 100% compliance with all company policies, guidelines and procedures.
Supports and assists team members in all departments on as needed basis.
Works closely with operations manager to move personnel effectively to promote interdepartmental cooperation and efficiency as a whole.
Maintains professional, neat and clean appearance at all times.
2+ Years as a leader in production and execution of events
Proficiency in floral design. An eye for creativity, color and design as well as extensive knowledge of florals and trends.
