WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Every office has one: the person who keeps things running smoothly. The go-to person when you need copies made, papers filed, or questions answered. The person who can maintain a pleasant phone conversation while sorting the mail. We honestly don't know how an office runs without one.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Manage multi-line telephones, answering the caller's questions or directing the caller to the appropriate party;
  • File documents in accordance with established filing systems in a timely manner.
  • Handle requests for records as appropriate; i.e., copying of medical records for insurance companies and attorneys.
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels of supplies; order supplies as necessary.
  • Work assigned work queues within the patient accounting system(s).
  • Document activity in an accurate and timely manner in the patient accounting system.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal billing regulations. Report any suspected compliance issues to management.
  • Review and process all attorney letters and subpoena requests.
  • Process incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail from the respective departments.
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
  • Adapt to high volume and high stress areas.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Time management.
  • Effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Maintain a positive approach, work cooperatively with others, and demonstrate a constructive response to criticism and work with others as a team.
  • Organizational Skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA Guidelines.
