Position Overview We are interviewing for Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Program/Budget Analysts (DARPA SETA) for the Biological Technologies Office (BTO). DARPA's Biological Technologies Office develops capabilities that embrace the unique properties of biology-adaptation, replication, complexity-and applies those features to revolutionize how the United States defends the homeland and prepares and protects its Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines. BTO is helping the Department of Defense expand technology-driven capabilities to detect novel threats and protect U.S. force readiness, deploy physiological interventions to maintain operational advantage, support warfighter performance, and focus on operational biotechnology for mission success. Duties include: Responsibilities Our COVID-19 Task Force is taking every measure to protect our employees during this time. Speak to a recruiter about our telework options. * Experience with Military or Government's Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution (PPBE). * Perform top-level PPBE analysis and prepare RDT&E exhibits. * Communicate program and technical requirements into acquisition, planning, public release documents and correspondence in clear, concise and compelling terms. * Perform detailed financial milestone analyses of technical programs. * Analyze and prepare program control briefings, training sessions, edit and interpret technical papers and prepare documentation accordingly. * Anticipate and solve financial, business, administrative, or program management problems. * Develop, organize, forecast and maintain financial budgets and tracking financial milestones * Create and coordinate budget and acquisition documents * Develop briefings to technical and non-technical audiences * Understand DoD policies and regulations Required Qualifications * Minimum BS/BA and 3 (three) or more years relevant DoD experience, preferably in an R&D organization and environment * TS Clearance #AvantusClearedJob * Experience in solving financial, administrative and program management issues, challenges and problems. * Experience organizing small meetings. * Experinece tracking technical, programmatic and financial milestones. * Knowledge and competence in web-based research, as well as analysis using modern IT techniques, systems applications, and tools.
