Position Summary The primary responsibilities of the Sales Associate position are to maintain outstanding customer service, generate sales, merchandise product, and support the store management team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Ensure each customer receives outstanding service which follows the S.A.L.E.S process and by mystery shop standards Ensuring that each Guest receives outstanding Guest Service by providing a Guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every Guest, maintaining outstanding standards and a positive attitude, solid product knowledge, merchandise promotions and advertisements, and all other components of Guest Service Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements. Execute the daily operational, day-to-day goals and priorities assigned by store management Assist in the training and development of peers Actively participate in team meetings Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards Oversee aisle assignments plus aide others Participate in the processing of new shipments and help the team to keep the receiving and back stock area clean and organized Responsive of safety issues Conscious of shoplifting activity Aid customers in locating merchandise in store, on ace’s website, as well as, processing special orders Solicit customers to open an Ace Rewards card Answer customers’ questions and provide information on procedures and policies Inform management of any customer concerns Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Possess a vast product knowledge of hardware related products along with a willingness to learn. Experience: establishing relationships and working with customers Skills/Knowledge: Knowledge of retail computer systems, MS Word and Excel a plus.
