Job Description:

HS/GED; 1+ years of experience

Works as a general maintenance worker.

Familiar and proficient in the use of all basic hand tools.

Familiar and proficient in the use of all basic power tools.

Familiar with general requirements of painting including proper application to the right mil thickness.

Works as a trades helper in a structural division.

Sets up welding/cutting machines and run lines as required.

Responsible for maintaining a clean professional work environment.

Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.

Must be able to obtain access to HII Newport News and other ship yards as required.

Looking for the right candidate to work in a structural division on board US Navy Vessels.

Candidate must have aptitude and interest in growing professionally.
