2nd SHIFT-PRODUCTION TRAINER/KILL FLOOR

HOURS:

• 2nd Shift - flexible as needed or required

DUTIES

• Training and motivation of all new employees
• Conducting of Work Hardening programs
• Conducting "off-line" knife sharpening classes on both straight and wizard knives
• Completing various reports in a timely manner
• May assists Occupational Health and the hospital for translation
• Teach annual retraining classes
• Stimulate maximum safety, efficiency, and productivity of production workers; ensure proper training of employees
• Other duties as assigned
• Hours worked as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School or GED preferred
• Superior knife sharpening skills (all types)-must achieve/maintain knives at or above 8.1 on the Anago knife sharpness tester
• Great communication skills - written and oral
• Knowledge and technical skills in a variety of KILL FLOOR jobs
• Valid driver license needed
• Patient attitude with inexperienced employees
• Excellent people skills
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to plan time efficiently
• Ability to conduct training classes as assigned
• Bilingual preferred but not required
• Good Safety record required
• Good attendance record required
