    Our location in Alameda, CA currently has an opportunity for a Commercial Data Management Senior Manager.

    The primary role of the Commercial Data Management Senior Manager is to ensure timely, accurate, and complete availability of data to US Commercial functions. The CDM Manager is responsible for working with data sources, vendors, and internal stakeholders. The incumbent will be responsible for integrating datasets from several industry sources with sales and marketing data. The CDM Manager is responsible for onboarding, integration, validation, and hosting of multi-media data. The incumbent is accountable for the currency and quality of data in Data Lake for analytics. This role will provide regular updates to senior management on the status of data assets and data projects.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO
    • Internal and Field Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate and partner with internal and external stakeholders to gain agreement on business objectives and the action plan to achieve them
    • Problem Solving: Demonstrate a strategic approach to achieve business objectives by asking strategic questions, aligning resources, developing an action plan, and evaluating action plan results
    • Data Analysis: Maintain subject matter expertise with data sources and tools, and apply this expertise to deliver high quality data and actionable insights
    • Process: Consistently implements all operations protocols, procedures, and standards in a timely manner
    • Teamwork and Collaboration: Contribute to the team's performance, actively collaborate within and beyond the team to design and ensure buy-in around solutions
    • Leadership: Support an environment of candor; takes accountability
    • Collaborate with US and Global Sales and Marketing stakeholders
    • Manage data projects involving large, disparate and structured / unstructured datasets
    • Conduct regular data discovery, data review, and reconciliation sessions to understand data availability, opportunities, and challenges
    • Support the data needs for multiple Marketing Mix Modeling projects during the year
    • Enable creation of reports and dashboards in Tableau or similar platform(s)
    • Manage and resolve data inquires to ensure unique and accurate data
    • Maintain US Commercial Data Catalog to serve as a central data asset repository
    • Educate stakeholders on raw data inputs and compliance considerations
    • Provide data for ROI analysis, periodic/adhoc analysis and KPI generation needs
    • Perform adhoc data analysis for root cause identification and problem solving
    • Manage data projects with IT and US Commercial data SMEs
    • Be a Subject Matter Expert on all data consumed by the stakeholders
    • Secure, renew, and centrally manage Third Party and Service Bureau Agreements with data partners and vendors
    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
    • BA or BS degree is required, MBA or master's degree is preferred
    • 7+ years' experience of Data onboarding from syndicated data providers
    • 7+ years analytical experience desired, preferably in the healthcare industry in a Data Management, IT, or Business Analytics role
    • 7+ years' experience with prescription, medical claims, and/or longitudinal patient-level data (e.g. IQVIA or Symphony ) for enabling Commercial operations with Targeting, Alignment, Sales Compensation, CRM, Market Mix Modeling, ROI, and Analytics
    • 7+ years' experience working with multi-media data (print, social, websites, etc.) management
    • High level of proficiency in SQL and Excel
    • 5+ years' experience working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment is preferred
    • Experience with analytical and/or reporting tools such as Tableau, SAS, R, Qlik, preferred
    • Experience working with Amazon Web Services (e.g. RedShift, Glue, S3) is highly preferred
    • 5+ years' project management experience is a plus
    • Ability to clearly, concisely present complex data scenarios to executive management
