Position Description:
The Fixed Income Division ("FID") Securitized Products Group is currently seeking an Associate to work on all aspects of executing warehouse lending facilities. The role will include working with originators, servicers, external counsel, rating agencies and internal constituents in the securitization banking, credit, legal, compliance, tax and accounting policy divisions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Main responsibilities center on establishing and maintaining relationships with originators in setting up and managing warehouse lending facilities which includes:
Preparing, reviewing and negotiating transaction terms with clients and external legal counsel
Understanding securitization execution and rating agency criteria in relation to internal credit policies and Firm risk tolerance
Liaising with external counsel and internal constituents to shepherd warehouse facilities from start to finish, including working closely with Credit personnel to create internal memos and analysis necessary to seek approval for warehouse facilities and new products
Working closely with the securitization banking team in delivering mortgage finance solutions to clients across warehouse lending and securitization
Qualifications :
Skills Required:
Minimum of four years of mortgage industry experience
Understanding of residential mortgage credit
o Strong preference for understanding of rating agency criteria, mortgage securitization structure, and loan underwriting parameters
Familiarity with structured finance and secured lending transactions
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Organizational expertise and attention to detail, with strong communication, reasoning and interpersonal skills; comfortable delivering in-person presentations to stakeholders of varying seniority
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
