    Job Description

    We are looking for an ambitious, hardworking National Sales Executive to join our team at Association Company, LLC. As an Account Executive at our company, you will be responsible for helping to turn leads into sales, managing an Executive Leadership Council team, working closely with office Sales Team, and performing other general sales duties that will include travel to our bi-annual conferences in Orlando, FL and Las Vegas, NV. Successful Sales Executives will be skilled communicators and presenters who can find the best fit between client and product. The ideal candidate will be able organized, passionate about client relations, and focused on enhancing the buyer experience.

    The Company:

    Association Company, LLC, located in Glen Allen, Virginia, helps to manage four non-profit managed care education associations – NAMCP Medical Directors Institute, the American Association of Managed Care Nursing (AAMCN), the American Board of Managed Care Nursing (ABMCN) and the American Association of Integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems (AAIHDS). 

    These four non-profit organizations provide continuing education through two live bi-annual conferences (located in Orlando and Las Vegas), online education, published print education and other educational tools and resources to medical directors, doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals. 

    The Position:

    We are looking for a full-time (40 hour/week) high-energy Account Executive who can recognize opportunities and turn leads into long-lasting partnerships. With their extensive product knowledge and understanding of industry trends, Account Executives will communicate directly with clients and prospects, understand their individual needs, and recommend products or services that maximize value. Account Executives may also assist in developing sales strategies and helping out at our bi-annual conferences. They should be an adaptable, knowledgeable multi-tasker with strong computer and communication skills. Our office is located in Glen Allen, Virginia.  Office hours are between 8:00am-4:30pm Monday through Friday.

    Salary and benefits will be competitive and based on experience and education.

    Sales Executive Responsibilities:

    • Providing support for clients by learning about and satisfying their needs.
    • Making cold calls or reaching out to prospects.
    • Following up with prospects several times throughout the sales cycle to ensure needs are being met.
    • Presenting and demonstrating the value of products and services to prospective buyers.
    • Compiling and analyzing data to find trends.
    • Developing sales strategies and setting quotas.
    • Staying current on company offerings and industry trends.
    • Maintaining a database of contact information.
    • Create and proofread sales materials and marketing pieces
    • Building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a better customer experience.
    • Handling complaints and negotiations.
    • Hosting Live Webinars
    • Working with Executive Directors of Company Councils

    Office Responsibilities:

    • Answering phones and managing accounts
    • Creating, maintaining, and entering information into databases.
    • Updating paperwork, maintaining documents and word processing.
    • Using various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
    • Performing general office duties.
    • Helping prepare for meetings and conferences.

    Sales Executive Requirements:

    • College degree
    • In-depth understanding of entire MS Office suite and Photoshop applications
    • Comprehensive and current knowledge of company offerings and industry trends
    • The drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while looking for new prospects.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to understand client needs.
    • Strong time management skills
    • Ability to work well under limited supervision.
    •  Must be able to meet deadlines.
    • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
