As an experienced Account Executive for UAI, within the dSPACE group, you will be part of an ambitious team which enables other companies to deliver high quality data to the end customer. As the first UAI Account Executive in the US you will be solely responsible for our sales activities in the US and spearheading our go-to-market there. It will be your mission to represent the UAI product line, close new business and expand the UAI customer base in the US region. To achieve this you will work closely with the dSPACE Key Account Managers in close cooperation with and under technical guidance of the UAI Sales team in Germany.
Since this role should cover the UAI business of the entire US, we are flexible to offer this position in San Jose, CA or Wixom, MI.
You will be the first UAI Account Executive in the US, solely responsible for our sales activities in the US
You will build up the UAI business and go-to-market strategy for the US, in alignment with our sales leadership team
You own the full UAI sales cycle end-to-end with support from our Sales Development Reps
You generate your own pipeline for strategically important accounts alongside our Sales Development Reps
You work along with Customer Success teams to ensure pilots are successful and feature requests are heard
You will identify and influence the buying center and build deep relationships with various hierarchy levels within the customer's organization
Successful track record in closing 6 and 7 digit deals
5+ experience in sales, preferably at an enterprise software company
3+ years closing annual contracts of at least $50k/year and handling yearly quotas of $1mm+
Experience with the automotive industry is a plus
Proven negotiation and closing skills
Prior experience at a fast-paced startup and able to work well in unstructured environments
Ability to understand our technical product and its benefits
