A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR / LABORER
As a Heavy Equipment Operator / Laborer, each day is a new adventure as you work on utility installations including sanitary sewer and water line replacements using traditional excavation and trenchless methods. Your day consists of completing a variety of tasks including pipe bursting, directional drilling, excavation, utility locating, hand-digging, breaking concrete, replacing concrete, and patching asphalt.
Always working with safety in mind, you are able to maintain a safe environment where we can ensure quality control. Your outstanding interpersonal skills come into play as you interact with coworkers and customers. You are never bored and love being able to work with your hands and stay out of an office!
