Job SummaryThis is a contract role for 1.5 years with a possibility to extend. As a member of the Organizational Development Center of Excellence team, the Senior Organizational Development Specialist, Operations provides support for training and development systems and programs Glanbia Nutritionals. The Senior Organizational Development Specialist will create, implement and support programs including training, performance and talent review, ensuring high-quality and consistent customer and employee experiences. The individual in this role will be a critical partner with HR and business leaders to ensure that all employees have the training, support, and tools they need to be successful in their roles. Essential FunctionsAnalyse development needs, identify appropriate development methodologies and tools, design and deliver training; Identify, develop and promote best practices in learning and development methodologiesLead the development of a training strategy that build capabilities aligned to future business needs with an emphasis on driving growth, operational excellence, and scaleSupport the implementation of global OD/HR initiatives, in particular those supporting the business strategy and culture, global leadership and business skills development programs, performance support, and training curriculaSupport culture, engagement and communication efforts to support business goals and objectivesEvaluate and continuously improve regional training and OD programs delivered to ensure they are meeting objectives and delivering value to businessDevelop close productive relationships with partners, the HR community and key stakeholders to ensure alignment of activities to overall business goalsManage key vendor relationships to ensure delivery of services meets expectations, pricing is optimal, etcDevelop expertise in technology solutions and systems that enables on-demand learning and viable tracking systems to measure the impact of training solutionsDefine and use business and talent performance analytics to drive future development solution investment decisionsParticipate in the evolution of the OD function in both structure and delivery cadence & methodology QualificationsEducation, Training: Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, or similar discipline or equivalent relevant experienceCertifications in industry standard programs/assessments (DISC, FranklinCovey, Situational Leadership, Crucial Conversations, etc) preferredCredentials preferred (CPLP, PHR, SHRM-CP, etc) Experience Required:4+ years' experience in learning and development/talent management/ODExperience using a wide range of tools in the analysis, design, development and evaluation of learning interventionsSpecific experience in working with SMEs (subject matter experts) in the co-development of professional and business development trainingDemonstrable experience facilitating trainingExperience managing external suppliersExperience administering an LMS and talent processes (succession, performance, onboarding) Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:Excellent design, facilitation and delivery skillsStrong analytical skills/Data-driven decision makerExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong team player, flexible to address changing business needs Excellent planning and project management capabilityResilient and able to work under pressure and deliver on tight deadlinesStrong process mind-set and looks for opportunities to improve efficient process deliveryTakes a keen interest in development practices within and outside of the company to determine opportunities to improve how training is managed within the CompanyThorough, detail-oriented, and applies logic and rationale to decision makingPersonal credibility and the possesses the ability to influence key stakeholders throughout the organizationPassionate about the business, will be a strong external ambassador / advocate for the business and will be highly collaborative with the ability to work successfully across teams, regions and functionsMust be results focused and highly energetic to drive the defined team and organizational goalsNatural willingness to step up and take on projects/tasks necessary to support the business and without concern to where the responsibility "should" be Language, Computer & Numeracy:Fluent in written and spoken English required; Spanish, German, or Mandarin a plus Physical RequirementsGeneral office activities in a corporate settingTypical Environmental ConditionsMay be exposed to moderate noise levels (i.e. office equipment, light traffic) Travel RequirementsOccasional domestic travel may be required (20%+)Occasional international travel DisclaimerMust perform the essential duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation efficiently and accurately without causing significant safety threat to self or others.
