    Position Summary

    Assist in determining all people policies currently administered throughout the company. Organize various people policies into database to assist team in prioritizing work. Collaborate with division HR teams, Associate & Labor Relations, and others to understand policy language, historical view and purpose of policies. Assist in research to determine industry best practice and competitive data. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

    Essential Job Functions

  • Research current people policies, as assigned, across the enterprise to create database of policies
  • Research union labor agreements to determine people policy language and add to database
  • Assist with maintaining HR policy library
  • Research industry best practices and competitive data to compare current people policies to external benchmarks
  • Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Minimum Position Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a HR generalist or an equivalent role
  • Strong written, oral, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Ability to achieve results through collaboration
  • Ability to interpret employee handbooks, labor contracts and government policies and regulations
  • Ability to preserve confidentiality of information
  • Desired Previous Experience/Education

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Any experience in a division administrative management HR role
  • Any experience creating and implementing policies

    Education Level: Bachelor's Desired
    Required Travel: Up to 25%
