Job Description
Administrative Assistant
· Report directly to the Accounting/HR Manager but will assist other management as needed.
· Collaborate with Financial Manager to ensure daily tasks are completed.
· Maintain daily financial transactions.
· Assist in creating HR policies and implementation.
· Assist department heads in training policies and implementation.
· Assist with preparation and coordination of training workshops.
· Assist the Accounting department with administrative tasks, to include phone calls, bank deposits, mail, etc.
· File and organize documents and billing as needed.
· Create new documents, forms, checklist, etc. as directed.
· Maintain current forms, documents, folders electronically and in physical files.
· Maintain personnel files.
· Assist the HR Manager with employee benefit distribution and ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
· Assist in the New Hire Orientation process.
· Performs clerical duties: taking memos, maintaining files, and organizing documents.
Qualifications:
· Must be detail oriented and work with a high degree of accuracy
· Ability to prioritize and multitask
· Strong organization and time management skills
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
· Takes initiative within area of responsibility
· Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
· Respect for confidential information; good judgement
