Shift Leaders are key members of our store leadership team and are responsible for developing and coaching Crew Members to execute Dunkin’ Donuts operational standards and deliver a great guest experience. Your ability to effectively train and develop your team and ensure a positive work environment will play a crucial role in retaining your team members, which is critical to the success of your branch and your development into upper management roles. Responsibilities Include:

Develop a Strong Team Environment – Ensure each Crew Member has a successful shift by communicating responsibilities, providing feedback, and recognizing achievements in an energetic and respectful manner. Develop and deploy Crew Members appropriately to meet guests’ needs and service standards throughout shift. You will have the opportunity to play an active role in the training and development of Crew Members as directed by Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager. Ensure a fun, positive, results oriented environment by communicating goals, recognizing excellence and holding team members accountable for performance during their shift.

Ensure Guest Satisfaction - In holding with the Dunkin’ brand, our Shift Leaders are expected to create a team that treats guests as highest priority by managing and modeling exceptional guest service. Your awareness of the performance of your team will help drive sense of urgency in your Crew Members to satisfy guests’ needs and resolve problems. Train and reinforce the use of systems, tools, and procedures throughout shift, while taking appropriate steps to correct deficiencies. You’ll play an active role in monitoring team performance to ensure a quality product, outstanding service, and exceptional cleanliness that meets our standards. We will provide all required training, including SERVSafe® certification. You’ll love our hands-on approach to training. We want you to be successful!

Contribute to Branch Profitability – You’ll play a key role in ensuring restaurant standards and marketing initiatives are properly executed during each shift. We will provide training that ensures that you follow all systems and processes to control labor costs, food costs, and cash throughout each shift. Another key component of your role will be to report equipment issues, provide Crew Member performance feedback, and discuss other restaurant opportunities with Restaurant Manager. Excellence in these areas will result in a successful branch and contribute to your ability to move into upper management roles!

Requirements

Qualifications:

Skills

  1. Must be able to fluently speak/read English
  2. Math and writing skills
  3. Restaurant, retail, or supervisory experience preferred
  4. At least 18 years of age (where applicable)
  5. High school diploma (or equivalent)
