The Surgical Services Operating Room Nurse Educator will be part of not-for-profit hospital that provides services to the dynamic South Bay community of San Francisco in California and its surrounding neighborhoods. The Operating Room Surgery Clinical Nurse Educator will report to both the Nurse Director of Education and Nurse Director of Perioperative Services. The Perioperative Services Operating Room Nurse Education Specialist will plan, manage, deliver and evaluate continuing education and training interventions for all health professionals and ancillary personnel as well as for health professionals in the corporate and outside community. 

The Operating Room Perioperative Clinical Nurse Educator will effectively plan, manage and conduct continuing professional and education/training programs. The Surgery Operating Room Clinical Nurse Educator will create innovative, cost effective educational interventions which cross multiple health care system boundaries. The Operating Room Clinical Nurse Educator will also facilitate positive professional interaction between health care groups, nursing departments, management team and all affiliates.
