    Job Description Job Title: Quality Control Supervisor Reports to: Quality Assurance Manager Keep and maintain all documentation related to the Quality Department, oversee the right implementation of procedures and GMP's and HACCP. Primary Areas of Responsibility Elaborate relative procedures to samples, inspections, and analysis.Recommend the instruments for quality measurement and maintain existing instruments.Assign employee tasks to achieve quality assurance.Evaluate the quality of the raw materials used with the purpose of quality of the flours.Reject any raw material that does not meet the established specifications and provide recommendations to dispose of said product or return to supplier with a complaint.To determine disposal of substandard product i.e. Animal feed, reprocess, product hold for further testing.Certify the finished products with certificates of assurance for quality.Determine the Quality Standards have been met for each of the products produced.Assure the healthiness of the products though sanitation of the plant and testing for microbiological analysis.Train the personnel in both Quality Control and Production in the process controls of manufacturing.Communicate with production in the process control methods.Maintain permanent safety measures for personnel at work and in and out of the laboratory, make sure plant personnel observe safety and sanitation programs and participate in the programs.Maintaining the Quality Control System requires: Reports, Statistics, Trace Recall, and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point knowledge.Represent the company before certified organization such as: American Institute of Baking, Organic Crop Improvement Association, Kosher and Overseers.Define the activities and job descriptions for laboratory technicians. Physical RequirementsMust be able to lift up to 45 pounds, 4 feet high, without the aid of another person.Must be able to sit/stand for up to a full eight hour shift in the performance of job dutiesMust be able to climb (up and down) up to 10 feet high, for up to a full eight hour shift in the performance of job dutiesMust be able to bend, stoop, push, and pull in the performance of job dutiesMust be able to use fingers bilaterally and unilaterallyMust be able to work in various temperatures and environmental conditionsMust be able to maintain amicable work relationships with fellow employees and perform all essential job functions in an environment that will sometimes include increased work levels of work-related stress
