    Job Description

Allentown balances the identity of a busy industrial city, as well as a beautiful rural environment that Purina is truly proud to call home.As the Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for executing all day-to-day operating activities of the Allentown Wet Plant. You will be responsible for the daily supervision of hourly employees along with managing key operating indicators such as safety, performance, quality and sanitation. Coach, mentor, and train employees for effective performance and safe operation. Lead change initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Review daily achievement targets and report variances. Implement action plans to address root causes of failures. Maintain efficient operation of department including the proper use of labor and equipment. Perform administrative functions including maintaining records critical to department operation.*Performs all other duties as assigned.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Experience: 1+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, military, or related environment.
