Integration and Test Lead

Full-time, Part-time
The Raytheon Electronic Warfare Systems Engineering department in Goleta, California has an immediate opening for an Integration & Test Lead. This role provides critical integration and test (I&T) direction to multiple product families within the Advanced Concepts & Technologies (ACT) mission area relating to Electronic Support (ES) and Electronic (EA) capability. As part of the Advanced Concepts and Technology (ACT) group, the I&T Lead will support cutting-edge and emerging technologies applied to the EW domain.

Responsibilities will include the following:
  • Participates in the development of cost and technical volumes for new business/proposals.
  • Participates in the development of the IV&V Strategy portion of the Technical Baseline.
  • Responsible for program compliance with systems engineering IV&V processes.
  • Establishes the program IV&V organization, schedule and milestones together with the CE and Program Management (PM).
Required Skills:
  • Minimum 10 years related system engineering experience in EW or Radar programs including prior leadership experience.
  • Prior leadership experience with cross-disciplinary teams to coordinate multi-faceted technical, logistic, and security operations in a complex multiple stakeholder environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to present data and explain results to subcontractors, senior level executives and customers.
  • Experience and understanding of implementation processes that include Earned Value Management and Integrated Product Development.
  • Familiarity with embedded software design and digital design of FPGAs and/or ASICs.
  • Familiarity with RF/Microwave principles and methodologies to support developing and conducting tests in laboratories and field environments.
  • Must Have Active (or active within past 24 months) DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Occasional business travel is required.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience in I&T of EW systems at military lab/range/flight test facilities.
  • Experience in radar threat analysis and EW technique development/analysis.
  • Working knowledge of I&T principles/tools for DevSecOps, digital engineering, and Agile.
  • Signal processing development, modeling, and test.
  • Experience with special test equipment (STE) development.
  • Familiarity with Xilinx, Altera, MATLAB, Simulink, SVN Subversion.
  • Experience contributing to proposal technical and cost volumes.
  • Top Secret security clearance and Special Access – SAP/SAR.
Required Education (including major):
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline.
Desired Education (including major):
  • Master's / Ph.D degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline.
