Java Dev/Big Data
Single Data Repository was established in 2017 is a key asset in several HEDIS and other initiatives processing several domains of Clinical data.
This Developer position is required to complete critical deliverables on the Interoperability program as well as other critical business requests. Not filling the position would result in delivery delays and missing the milestones. The Developer role is expected to be experienced in Big data, Kafka, REST API and Health care background.

8 -10 member scrum team
What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background, etc.)?
Java, Spring, SQL, ReST API, Microservices, Hive, HBase/Column Oriented databases, JSON, FHIR, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Unit Testing, Maven, SBT, IntelliJ, VSCode
Health care background preferable
What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)
Attending scrum calls
System testing and deployment

Big data development experience – 3+
Strong Java background – 5+
Kafka/API experience 2+

What are the work hours? (ex. 9am-5pm, day/night shifts, rotating shifts, etc) 9-5
What does the interview process look like?
