The AC and Residence Inn by the Galleria is seeking a Front Office Assistant Manager who is passionate about service and hospitality to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Front Office Manager will report to the Front Office Manager and is responsible for the oversight of the front desk and will insure highest quality standards and services are met daily.

Responsibilities include:

    -Train, supervise, coach and counsel employees
    -Empower employees to improve guest satisfaction and product quality
    -Communicate within departments and overall property operational needs and requirements
    -Resolving escalated guests' issues
    -Creating, revising, implementing and supervising procedural aspects of guest services
    -Create expectations and holding employees accountable for actions
    -Managing overtime and labor productivity
    -Implement, review, and revise training programs for Front Office departments
    -Conduct monthly meetings with staff to communicate incentive programs, implement new products and procedures, and discuss areas of opportunities, special events, etc.
    -Create a positive environment
    -Supervise procedural aspects of the hotel's Guest services; maintain presence during peak traffic periods
    -Placement of various audit systems to assure standards
    -Develop and implement strong Manager on Duty program
    -Job Requirements:

    -Hotel front desk/guest service experience
    -Must work weekends, holidays, and be flexible to work AM/PM shifts according to business demands
    -Ideal candidate will have:

    -2+ years of Front Office/Guest Service Manager experience
    -Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from a college
    -Experience in an upscale hotel environment
    -Strong skills relating to multi-tasked and motivational skills
    -Has patience to deal with guest concerns and executing proper guest service Must understand Operations of Fossil systems, Microsoft system and Guest Request Systems (HotSOS)While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to manipulate equipment, and to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move office supplies weighing up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
