Title: Technical Support Specialist

Overview of Position

The Technical Support Analyst is responsible for providing application support to imaging cloud customers. This role is the initial point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns about the product. Responsible for researching and resolving ongoing issues and working with other teams to assess advanced support issues and provide resolution. We strongly prefer professionals with a background in healthcare technical support.

Note: This position is remote from anywhere in the country, and the working hours are from 9 AM - 6 PM Pacific time.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Act as initial point of contact for software related concerns from internal or external customers

  • Identify, investigate and resolve issues software issues
  • Guides users through diagnostic and troubleshooting process which may include use of diagnostic tools, and software and or following verbal instructions
  • Engage with the development teams to identify and resolve system problems
  • Provide solutions for software issues and provide detailed documentation
  • Review and resolve system monitoring events
  • Responding to support issues and requests in a timely manner
  • Contribute to maintaining strong client relationship by providing excellent customer service
  • Software Installation and upgrade of Virtual Machines / Edge Servers
  • Update system configurations as needed.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • Experience in a customer facing role with strong customer service skills.
  • 2 + years of technical experience with PACS, Healthcare Imaging as well as supporting internal and external customers strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology Diploma or equivalent or related experience

  • Understanding of Networking fundamentals, Windows Operating System Servers.
  • Experience with Active Directory or LDAP strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of HL7 standards and interface engines strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with cloud technologies
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter, able to work independently without supervision.
