The 3PL Warehouse Associate acts as the liaison with all internal and external customers in regards to all activities and requirements. This individual ensures the accurate and timely processing of all products in and out of the warehouse. The main function of this position will be to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction with the 3PL product. This is a "hands-on" position that will require a working knowledge of all aspects of the 3PL product. This position will report directly to Logistics Manager. Responsible for creating and maintaining a positive work environment.

Job Requirements
  • Acts as WMS Super user utilizing the resources available both locally and at the corporate support level.
  • Interfaces with customer on requirements and concerns
  • Ensure all warehouse best practices are adhered.
  • Implements work instructions for receiving, packaging, labeling, storing, kitting and shipping.
  • Understands customer KPI and SOP requirements and ensures compliance.
  • Ensure timely receipt and shipment of all customer products to meet each customer requirements.
  • Maximize the storage capacity of the warehouse through the proper management of the product at receipt and during storage.
  • Responsible for solving problems for both internal and external customers
  • Responsible for end-to-end follow-up for customers and for taking ownership of customer inquiries and problems
  • Has a thorough understanding of warehouse forklift best practices.
  • Works with 3PL and freight forwarding teams to identify areas to improve/enhance overall service to the Client
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management
  • Ensures safety is a number one consideration on the warehouse floor.
Job Requirements:

  • 4+ years of warehouse experience required
  • 2+ years of WMS Assets 3.9 highly preferred
  • 1+ year of management experience highly preferred
  • Knowledge of Quality Management (i.e. TQM, Six Sigma) preferred
  • Operational knowledge & experience with warehouse operations, Forklift certification and training, shipping and receiving, distribution, documentation, and compliance highly preferred
  • Forklift certified or certifiable through testing.
  • Experience dealing directly with customers is preferred.
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

LANGUAGE SKILLS


English is the principal language for this position. This position requires good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Basic proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and other technical software is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand. The employee is often required to walk and use hand and eye coordination. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK HOURS AND ENVIRONMENT

Normal working hours for this position are Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, however, overtime will often be required.
