Job Description

This Community Health Center seeks a Medical Director who will be  for the coordination and oversight of all medical care and quality of services provided.

Established in 1970, the health center is a community-based, 22,300 square-foot facility that has successfully provided comprehensive primary care services for over 40 years. This health center embraces a holistic, team-based approach to individual and family care for a diverse patient population.

The Medical Director will:

• as a Family Practice physician, provide primary care to patients of all ages 
• ensure that patients receive the highest quality of health care while managing the cost effective utilization of clinic resources
• serve as a member of the Leadership team, as well as the Clinical department and oversee all clinical policies and procedures

Job Requirements

Five (5) + years practice in medicine in an outpatient primary care environment.

Two (2) + years of managerial experience in an in- or out-patient environment.

Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center strongly preferred
