ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES 



This role is part of - Reynolds Marketing Services Company (“RMSC”) - Field



 



The role is responsible for identifying opportunities, creating and implementing business plans and delivering against targeted commercial objectives within that market. Division Managers (“DM”) will also be responsible for directing a team of approximately eight Territory Managers (“TM”) and/or a Local Account Manager (“LAM”). The DM will mentor TMs and/or LAMs to develop market plans and drive a step change in new category growth to elevate the Company’s ability to continue to grow the business. This includes the management of market conditions, collaborative customer relationships, and delivery against key performance indicators (“KPIs”).



 



This role will require DM alignment with the local selling team to understand customer capabilities and market dynamics. The DM will develop plans to enhance Go-To-Market strategies as well as identify opportunities to amplify our touch points across the identified market(s). DM’s will be the subject matter expert - providing recommendations on timing and resources needed to meet key deliverables, while tracking and measuring the effectiveness of the localized initiatives across the market. DM’s are expected to challenge the status quo, look outside of the category for inspiration and determine new ways of executing the 5Ps.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR 




  • Working closely with key internal stakeholders (Trade Marketing, Activation, Strategy Planning and Insights, etc.) to provide recommendations on the right set of touchpoints and programs as well as the right partners needed to activate and amplify our NGP portfolio within the identified Market

  • Strategic and financial acumen to enable the identification, evaluation, and action against business growth opportunities

  • Strategic thinking - outlet and account management

  • Collaboration with the local selling manager(s) and key customers to amplify our alignment and enhance our ability to drive unique brand campaigns and marketing platforms across the identified market(s)

  • Provide recommended budget, resources and timelines needed to effectively implement customized programs and plans to enhance and elevate customer participation in the identified market(s)

  • Thought Leadership and team development

  • Strategic selling and negotiation skills

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE 




  • 5+ years marketing experience required in a fast paced, CPG industry

  • Demonstrated track record of success

  • Highly effective verbal, written, and listening communications skills delivered in a manner appropriate to the needs of the audience

  • Strategy development, planning, and CPG analytical/business acumen skills

  • Strong balance between immediate and longer-term commercial views

  • Change leadership skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required
