Position Description: The Store Manager is responsible for an array of tasks. They must be able to multitask well, they are responsible for searching, finding, interviewing, hiring, teaching, disciplining and terminating employees. They may be required in assisting in creating company practices, procedures, policies, guidelines and mannerisms. They are responsible for teaching employees all company practices, procedures, policies, guidelines and mannerisms. They are responsible for getting vendor requirement forms filled out for each ingredient and product by each corresponding manufacturer or vendor. They are to stay on top of stock and make and coordinate orders for what food and products are needed. They are to make sure all recipes are being followed in the proper manner. They are to make sure food is being received, stored, prepped, cooked, furnished and delivered in the proper manner. They are to make sure all positions are doing their job correctly, efficiently and safely. They must be a fast learner and teacher, and not crack under pressure. They must be able to deal with difficult employees in a positive constructive way no matter how difficult they may be. They are responsible for handling and mediating on site customer disputes as well as employee disputes. These associates will deal with the health inspector during inspections. They are to order products needed in the restaurant such as food, supplements, to go materials, cleaning products and kitchen tools. Larger scale equipment (anything worth over $1,000.00) is to be discussed with the president and executed only after president’s approval. They are to work in cooperation with all other positions and do their best to not interfere with the operations of the other positions as well as the customers. These associates report to the president of the company.
