The Quality Control Associate is responsible for the support, verification processing, inspection, and testing of incoming raw materials. The Quality Control Associate will ensure all materials are correctly identified and determine the purity and concentration of materials that are being accepted and inventoried for manufacturing purposes.
Education: High School Diploma or equivelent
Experience: 3 to 6 months working in a Laboratory setting
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Physical Capabilities (add lines as needed)
Strength (lifting, dexterity, repetitive motion): Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion.
Movement (standing, stopping, sitting, crouching, crawling): This position requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, climb/balance, and stoop/kneel/crouch/crowl.
Hearing (loud noise tolerance, quiet work area, public speaking, receive work direction): Must be able to effectively hear in both quiet office settings and loud manufacturing environmnets.
Vision (judge distance, read signs, extended computer work, identify details): Must be able to see clearly at both far and close distances, with or without glasses/contacts.
