ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and evaluate all aspects of the Bank and holding company's fiscal/financial function and performance. Participate in the development of the Bank's plans and programs as a strategic partner, with a concentration on financial projections, modeling, monitoring, and reporting. Provide risk management leadership, primarily in the areas of liquidity, interest rate and financial risk. • Manage the Bank's investment portfolio, making timely decision on the purchase and sale of securities in accordance with the Bank's strategic risk appetite. CFO will work closely with The Baker Group and their associated software providing risk management assessments to the CEO and ALCO group. The Bank generally has holdings in MBS, CMO's, Municipals and Agency securities. Prepare monthly investment portfolio analysis and make recommendations to the investment policy as needed • Responsible for the preparation of the Quarterly Interest Rate Risk Management Report (IRRM), Quarterly Investment Strategy Report and in conjunction with the Vice President of Finance, preparation and review of the Contingency Funding Plans, Liquidity Balance Sheets, Semi-Annual Sources & Uses projections as well as various Capital Planning documents as needed. • Be able to provide accurate financial analysis and forecasting during Merger and Acquisition discussion as well as strategic financial analysis and tax planning for M&A activities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Master's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. MBA or CPA strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in business related field from four-year college or university; or ten years banking and/or related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Location: Must live inelocate to Havre.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Active CPA license. Must possess a valid driver's license.
