Job Summary

Under the direction of store management, the team member is responsible for the successful execution of the Pie Five experience through serving the guest in each area of the restaurant (make station, cut station, cashier station, dough station, dish station and dining room). 

Essential Job Functions

  • Efficiently and accurately prepares all menu items, following Pie Five recipes
  • Maintains an efficient pace of production to ensure accurate and quick guest service
  • Accurately and efficiently removes all orders from the oven, cutting and packing the menu items according to garnish charts and operational standards
  • Maintains a solid understanding of a properly- and improperly-made menu items, including the recognition of quality indicators, and corrects errors immediately
  • Consistently maintains clean and organized workstations, replenishing product as needed and following sanitization standards
  • Smoothly and expeditiously maintains a neat dining area by bussing tables, removing trash, resetting tables, and wiping down seats
  • Dependably follows cleaning and sanitizing procedures of all dishes and smallwares
  • Knowledgeably answers guest questions, in person or by phone, about menu items, pricing, and educates them on current promotions
  • Accurately collects and disburses cash or charge payments from guests
  • Engages the guest in the dining room, explaining the Pie Five concept, inquiring about their experience, and soliciting new rewards program members
  • Monitors and cleans restrooms regularly
  • Successfully completes opening/closing checklists and/or responsibilities
  • Perform otherrelated duties, as assigned by company management

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and other employees  
  • Must be able to listen attentively to guests, supervisors, and employees
  • Must work with a strong sense of urgency
  • Must be organized, flexible, and detail-oriented
  • Must be able to comprehend and execute local food-handling laws and standards   Must be able to comprehend and execute Pie Five standards and expectations
  • Must be able to act in a professional manner that promotes a pleasant work environment   Must be able to successfully pass a 60-day skill test
  • Must be able to focus and perform with a high level of energy throughout the shift
  • Must be able to maintain a friendly and outgoing demeanor throughout the entire shift
  • Must have basic math skills and have the ability to handle money efficiently and accurately, with or without a calculator or POS system
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English language

Physical & Mental Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for periods of up to 6 hours
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and kneel repeatedly over a long period of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds

Required qualifications:

  • 16 years or older
